Ho-ho-Hold my beer!

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, except for a soused Santa Claus,

The stockings were hung by the chimney, swinging a bit,
In hopes that St. Nicholas, in his state, could still hit.

The children were snuggled, all cozy in their beds,
While sugar-rummed Santa stumbled overhead.

Mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn, there bumped such a noise,
I sprang from the bed, worried about the boys.

Away to the window, I stumbled in my dash,
Flung open the shutters, and out fell my stash.
The moon on the snow made the yard shine bright,
Enough to guide Santa on this very special night.
When, oh, to my blurry eyes should I see,
But a wavering sleigh, and eight dizzy reindeer, teetering with glee.

With a rosy-cheeked driver, a little unsteady, but quick, I knew in a moment, it must be St. Nick.
More wobbly than a tavern's patrons his coursers they came,
And he hiccuped, and belched, and called them by name;

"Now, hic DASHER! now, DANCER! now, PRANCER and VIXen! Oh, COMET! oh CUPID! oh DONNER .. KEBAB... hic, something or and other!

To the top of the porch! to the window, to the top of the wall! Now stagger away! stagger away! stagger away all!"
